Tracy told me I was being too difficult with my clues regarding our mystery guest.

She asked me to post a picture with a better view of his face.

So to make Tracy happy, here is a picture. I cleaned it up a bit with Photoshop. I hope this makes the guessing a bit easier.

Ren :)

This is another picture of our guest.

Perhaps this picture will lead to some guesses as to his identity

Doesn't Tracy look happy about getting her picture taken?

Ren :)

He's eating 8 weiners? That's a clue!?? Hmn, I don't remember anyone like this at the fancon1 meet and greet Bonfire with Tom's exploding weiner. You DID say you have photoshop didn't you? I'm impressed than anyone could have an older version than mine. At least I paid for mine and it's legit.

* . . Oh Dear, what to do. I was going to delete my prior post and replace it with something more appropriate. It didn't occur to me until a half hour later, that there are some double entendres there, that could be in bad taste, and blow up on me. However Timmins must have had another electrical storm last night, because I couldn't get back onto either the city server, nor the STC or it's messageboard again. And now this morning, aFinn has replied. So removing my post could be unchivalrous and leave her twisting slowly in the wind. So I guess I'll have to leave my post in place, and be accountable, even tho it isn't up to my preferred standards of editing. What I was going to say instead is this:

A) If I turn the initials of the Mystery Guest Speaker upside down, I get WGS. The first and last initial then fit a person I know, who is described as good at public speaking.

B) These two new heads seem like caricatures. They could signify something, or just be meaningless alternative masks. Taking the first alternative first, there are at least two options.

. . . (1,a) The smiley face, brown hair, receding hairline, and rugged, masculine features fits a person I know, including one with the initials mentioned earlier.

. . . (1,b) The cloud around the other head could mean multiple things, only some of which I'd be comfortable speculating about publicly. (x) If those are bees around the head, that guy might be looking forward to only a short career in zoo-keeping. (y) If they are just dots splattered or spray painted by an imaged editor, it would be interesting to see if I can remove them. However I've never tried to undo someone else's edits before. If the layers were merged or flattened before the file was saved, I doubt it can be undone. Also, there are hundreds of editing tools and filters in Adobe Photoshop, creating tens of thousands of possibilities of how the original edits were done. Intuition and experience can narrow that down quite bit. I took a look at those. It was fun, but yielded nothing useful.

. . . (2) Taking another alternative, these two new heads are close to cartoon caricatures. I don't watch enough TV to be very familiar with those. We might benefit from the surgical precision in that field, of someone like DAX.

I reserve the right to enter my other ideas when I get back. I had another thought, which escapes me in the haste of the moment on my way out the door. I even had a dream the other night, about who this person was. That was incredible. Went right up to the top. Somebody's right hand man.

Meanwhile, if I continue procrastinating on more important preparations for my trip to Colorado in a few days, I'm bound to come up with more ideas for this puzzle. There are few things in life, at which I'm more practiced, than procrastination.

I'm honored that you would consider me for the role.

I have now seen the face behind the masks.

I KNEW he looked familiar.

Yes August the 1st and just 16 days or 15 for me to the start of the 2005 World wide Shania Twain Fan Convention.... YeeeHa 92 *** to beam down Mr Spock...

*** Current registrations total including prize winners as of today. Expect final numbers attending to climb to over 100 as the last second rush comes in from the Timmins Locals as a result of a news blitz about to start in one weeks time.

Well, even though Tracy is on vacation this week, I did have a quick phone conversation with her today and between the mix of her vacation this week and the person at CMT that she needs to make final arrangements with (who is on Vacation until Aug. 10), we won't have specific details on the time of the CMT tour until the latter part of next week. However, I can assure you that it is Tracy's intention to be able to book the CMT tour as late in the day as possible to accomodate as many fans as the time schedule will allow. We will have to accept whatever works for CMT's schedule but the idea is to shoot for sometime between 5:00-6:00pm HOWEVER please don't consider that the time yet. It seems if the CMT tour is at that time period more people who want to attend will be able to. But I'm re-emphasizing again that it's CMT's tour offer, so if they say it must be at 2pm or 3pm then thats just the way it'll be. So keep your eye's glued to this thread toward the end of next week when we hope to let you know.

I also spoke again with one of the managers at ARIZONA's and explained the situation of our possible CMT tour being in the early evening and that our group might not arrive until 7:30 or 8:00pm. He said not to worry as they remain open every night until 2:00am so we'll have all the time we want to have food and drink and fun. He wasn't sure how to tap into their dedicated satellite entertainment feed that pumps the music/TV broadcast to the speakers and TV's but he'll have a talk with the week-end DJ to get instuctions on how get Shanis CD's and/or DVD videos to play. He said they also have a back room that they could possibly reserve for the convention fans to gather in where they could pump up the Shania music for us a little louder, but he needs to speak with the General Manager as to if the room has already been reserved that night.

He looked in the General Managers calendar book and saw her notes from three months ago when she talked to me that she had marked the evening of Aug. 16 to be a Shania theme night. I asked him to let her know of our conversation today and told him I'll give her a call toward the end of next week when we know more about the time of the CMT tour and when we'll be able to arrive to Arizona's.

You have been a busy Boy Richard, well done you. Hope Tracy is fine. I miss her and Sue a lot as the Cente is just not the same with those two both off work at the same time. Got a visit from CTV the other day, Frank did the interview.
